O Projeto Matemática Volante tem o objetivo de, por meio de objetos e atividades interativas, oferecer oportunidades de aprendizado e compreensão da Matemática em um ambiente divertido e estimulante. O Projeto também organiza eventos e workshops sobre Matemática e seu papel na sociedade, arte, ciência e tecnologia, e apoia professores contribuindo para o seu desenvolvimento profissional por meio da discussão da matemática e pedagogia relacionadas com as ações do projeto. Outro braço do Projeto produz material digital sobre Matemática para distribuição gratuita nas redes sociais.
The math on wheels project promotes the appreciation and understanding of mathematics by visiting places and presenting interesting and interactive objects and activities. Le projet "mathématique itinérant" promeut - grâce à la visite de lieux, la présentation d'objets et la réalisation d'activités intéressantes et interactives - une meilleure appréciation et compréhension des mathématiques. L'organisation offre la possibilité d'apprendre les mathématiques dans un environnement ludique et stimulant. Le projet prévoit également des événements et des ateliers qui, outre l'approfondissement des mathématiques, visent à percevoir leur rôle dans la culture, la société, la science et la technologie.
